I recently had a great installation done of a new furnace and ac unit/heat pump with Great Bison, and I've been using their services for years. Chris and Andrew have come out to service my old furnace plenty of times, one time even on short notice in an emergency situation everyone dreads during the cold winter months when you wake up with no heat. They are extremely personable, knowledgeable and attentive. They go above and beyond to make sure you understand what needs to be done, and what the best course of action would be to take for your situation. When they installed for me they were quick, efficient, and considerate and made sure to clean up and walk me through how to use my new equipment in detail. I can't recommend them enough, thank you guys!
On July 3rd, we had an Amana furnace installed at our home by Andy & Tim from Great Bison Heating and Cooling. My wife and I waited until now to provide a rating on the product and service we received, since we wanted to actually use the furnace before giving our feedback. It works GREAT!

Whether in person, on the phone, or through e-mail & text messages - Andy (owner) & Tim (helper) were very professional in all of our interactions - before, during, and after installing our new furnace. Their punctuality, quality of work, and clean-up afterwards was impeccable.
Starting from getting the initial estimate and approving it, Andy kept us apprised during each step of the process. He is extremely knowledge about the Amana product line and its competitors’ products. He answered every question that we had to our satisfaction, and responded to each e-mail/text message which I sent to him – that day – normally in the evening.
My wife and I are elated that we found and selected the Great Bison Heating and Cooling team to install our new furnace!!!

Great service. First of all, they show up when they say they're going to (which is more than I can say for the two heating and cooling companies I tried first -- they didn't show and didn't call). Second, the work was good -- what was not working before is working now. Best of all is the quantity and quality of communication in all dealings. They use text messages, email messages and phone calls to good effect to stay in close contact with the customer. All communications are crystal clear.
Not to overstate it, but, if the definition of integrity is "doing what you say you're going to do," then Great Bison is a company with integrity. These days, that's becoming increasingly rare. Highly recommended.
Had Great Bison come service our AC unit a couple summers ago. Just prior to leaving for vacation, our unit was overworking and not blowing cold. Chris was able to quickly determine the issue and resolve it for us quickly and at a great rate. Was very happy with the service and on such short notice.
Communication was prompt and professional.
Came right out and analyzed my Central A/C unit for hot air blowing. Was though and explained the issue to me. I will highly recommend them. Service charges were low and fair.
Update for 12/28/2025 my mobile home Furnace was blowing cold air and Andrew came out to check and anailyze the reason. He restarted the system, checked temperatures and explained the plugged door filter caused the system to go into a cooling mode so it won't over heat the motor. I cleaned the filter and its running great. Thank you again Andrew for awesome service!
